Delete My Data

You can request deletion of all device-linked data associated with your CompCaddy usage. Because CompCaddy has no user accounts, we use your in-app Support ID to locate your records.

What Gets Deleted

Upon a verified deletion request, we will permanently remove:

  • Your scan history (scan identifiers you submitted, including product barcodes and grading certification numbers)
  • Your quota ledger (scan usage records)
  • Your anonymous device ID association in our database

Data will be deleted within 30 days of a verified request.

What Is Not Affected

  • Your Apple subscription — cancel separately in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
  • Aggregated, anonymized analytics data that cannot be linked back to your device
  • Data stored locally on your device — clear this by uninstalling the app
  • Cached marketplace comparison data and certification data that is not linked to your device

How to Find Your Support ID

Open CompCaddy → SettingsPrivacySupport ID. Tap to copy it.

Your Support ID is a unique identifier that lets us locate your records without requiring an email address or account.

How to Submit a Request

Email privacy@compcaddy.app with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:

  • Your Support ID (from Settings → Privacy → Support ID)
  • Confirmation that you want all associated data deleted

We will confirm receipt and complete deletion within 30 days.
